Need For Speed Shift 2: Unleashed is the fifteenth title in the Need for Speed saga and a sequel to Need for Speed Shift. NFS Shift 2 Unleashed expands on the features of its predecessor. The player’s goal will be the 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship and the 2010 FIA GT3 European Championship as well as new races and circuits included.

Another feature is that it can be played on night circuits and of course it includes the Online mode of the Autolog function, a function known from the acclaimed game of the same saga: Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. Finally, the game has improvements regarding the control of the cars, as well as the direction lines, sensitivity, among other improvements.

Unlike the rest of the games in the saga, this one is not characterized by being an arcade game, but rather a simulation game that tries to resemble as much as possible the real sensation of driving a real car on a circuit.
