About This Game
Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, also called BHD, is a first-person shooter video game created by NovaLogic. It is the sixth video game in the Delta Force series. Set in Somalia during operations Restore hope in 1992 and gothic serpent in 1993.
The game uses a more realistic engine compared to previous delta force games. The player begins as a soldier in the 10th Mountain Division, taking part in a UN mission in aid of 300,000 civilians. After the third mission, the player takes on the role of a Ranger, during the Battle of Mogadishu on October 3, 1993.
During the second part of the game, the player takes the role of a special forces soldier (Delta Force). Humvee, UH-60 Black Hawk, and small Hughes MH-6 Little Bird helicopters play very important roles in the game.
