Ninjas and zombies together in one game: what can go wrong? This combination is explosive. And that’s the main idea behind Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, a hack’n’slash game that turns out to be a spin-off of the main Ninja Gaiden saga and brilliantly mixes both worlds.
Yaiba is a third-person action game of ninjas, swords, fights and combos. In essence it is not much different from other similar games such as Ninja Gaiden, Lollipop Chainsaw, Devil May Cry or Bayonetta. All those games are paired with the same pattern and it is still an evolution of the classic beat’em up of arcades. What sets them apart is how each of them presents action, control, enemies, visual design, flexibility or difficulty.
