About This Game
True Crime: New York City is the sequel to the game True Crime: Streets of LA. It is developed by Luxoflux, published by Aspyr Media Inc and distributed by Activision.
The story revolves around Marcus Reed, he is an African-American member of a criminal organization that takes control of his father’s Empire when he is taken to prison. After a few years in control, Marcus is betrayed by a friend and almost dies in an ambush.
Covered in blood and wounded, Marcus suddenly appears at the house and takes revenge in the same way. After a bloody shootout with members of his gang, Marcus corners the traitor in the basement and shoots him dead.
Dropping his gun, he is nearly killed by a gang member who was hiding during the shootout. Marcus is saved by Terry, an NYPD detective.
