Terminator Salvation is a third-person shooter video game where the player has to “constantly move, flank, take cover, and use his squad to progress. The player must fight Skynet enemies from the film of the same name as well as new enemies designed specifically for the game.

The game features a campaign that can be played alone or in cooperation with another local player via split screen. The cooperative version of the game allows players to play as both John Connor and his teammate Blair Williams.
