About This Game
Iron Storm is a professional-grade alternate reality first-person shooter, with optional third-person controls, set in a reimagined 1964. Combining World War I and II influences, the game blends trench warfare, mustard gas, and siege tactics with advanced technology like spy satellites and automatic turrets.
The timeline diverges when Russian Baron von Ugenberg, inspired by historical Baron von Ungern-Sternberg, conquers Mongolia, overthrows the Bolsheviks, and creates a Russo-Mongol empire with ambitions to dominate Europe. Players take on the role of Lieutenant James Anderson, an Alliance veteran tasked with infiltrating enemy lines to halt the Russo-Mongols’ development of a nuclear weapon.
