About This Game
Dungeon Keeper 2 is a strategy video game developed by Bullfrog Productions and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows released in Europe and North America in June 1999. It was the sequel to Dungeon Keeper and predecessor to the canceled Dungeon Keeper 3.
Peter Molyneux did not have an active role in the creation of Dungeon Keeper 2, although many of his ideas carried over into the game. Like its predecessor, players take on the role of a dungeon keeper tasked with building and defending an underground dungeon from invading would-be heroes, as well as other care.
In the game’s campaign mode, the player is tasked with retrieving the jewels from each area in order to open a portal to the surface. In Dungeon Keeper 3 the gems were to be used to invade the surface world and defeat the beautiful heroes faction.
