Dark Sector is a third-person action video game that puts us in the shoes of Hayden Tenno, an agent of the American special forces who is sent to the Soviet nation of Lasria (fictional nation) with a dangerous objective.

He must find an old colleague, who has apparently been infected by a strange virus. When he succeeds, he will soon receive a second objective: finish off Robert Mezner, the person responsible for spreading the infection that has taken its toll on the population of Lasria.

On his way Hayden crosses dozens of enemies, and although he has great combat skills, he cannot prevent a powerful opponent from infecting him. When he wakes up, Hayden is infected, but alive.
