This installment in the Conflict series takes place in many regions of the world: in Conflict: Global Terror, Red Team spends the game fighting international terrorism.

Instead of a rousing desert tank warfare or a tense jungle ambush fight, the game explores many locations outside of the military, such as gas factories, cocaine production facilities, and hotels.

Gadgets are useful and are often found useful: thermal goggles allow the player to see through smoke, and Bradley’s laser designator can mark key targets for the gunship’s airstrike. Claymore mines allow the team to protect their rear or even set up ambushes.
