About This Game
Command & Conquer: Generals is a real-time strategy video game developed by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows in 2003 and for the Mac OS system in 2004. It continued to perpetuate the Command & Conquer series giving it an alternative twist to the previous sequels as far as its history is concerned.
It was followed by an expansion called Command & Conquer: Generals – Zero Hour, which came out for PC in 2003 and for Mac OS in 2005. Generals is based on a near future, in which players must take part with one of the three factions in spear for victory. In Generals the US and China are the two superpowers, and they are in the crosshairs of the GLA (Armed Liberation Group), a large and well-organized fanatical terrorist cell with Arab overtones.
