About This Game
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (previously known as Modern Warfare 2 or MW2) is a first-person shooter video game (although there are some third-person game modes) developed by Infinity Ward.
It is the sixth installment in the Call of Duty series and the direct successor to Modern Warfare, the fourth in the series. The story begins 5 years after Modern Warfare. Imran Zakhaev, the antagonist of the first part, was declared a hero of the new Russia and was honored with a monument and the Moscow-Sheremetyevo International Airport being named after him.
