American McGee’s Alice is a third-person action computer video game released on October 6, 2000, which takes place in the Alice in Wonderland universe. It was developed by Rogue Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts.

It was designed by American McGee, and its musical score was composed by Chris Vrenna. This game was based on the Quake III Arena 3D engine. A PlayStation 2 version was in development but was cancelled.

The game’s box art was altered after its release supposedly due to complaints received by Electronic Arts from various consumer groups, although McGee has maintained that said alteration was due to internal concerns with Electronic Arts, and had no external relations. .
