About This Game
Age of Mythology maintains the same mechanics of the Age of Empires series and is similar in some aspects so it could be considered a spin-off. However, it features 3D graphics and does not focus on historical accuracy, but rather focuses on the mythology and legends of the Egyptians, Greeks, and Norse.
Age of Mythology: The Titans Expansion is the continuation of the Age of Mythology game and adds 15 completely new human units, 10 mythical units and 12 divine powers, as well as new buildings and technologies to the original game, most grouped in a completely different new civilization : The Atlanteans.
This civilization dates back to a time in Ancient Greek Mythology where the universe – according to the Greeks – was ruled by twelve Titans, the ancestors of the Olympian gods. The gods only exercised dominion over the elements, while the titans were the elements.
