Dead Space 3 is a third person shooter video game developed by Visceral Games and distributed by Electronic Arts. is a sequel to Dead Space 2 and is the third installment in the main Dead Space series. The game takes place primarily on the frozen planet Tau Volantis, and follows protagonist Isaac Clarke and John Carver as they attempt to end the threat of the necromorphs.

Dead Space 3 is a third-person shooter video game that has Isaac Clarke as the protagonist, who must undertake a journey through the exoplanet Tau Volantis to destroy a necromorphic moon, which is responsible for the signals emitted by the effigies. As in the previous games in the series, this one has a non-traditional HUD called “resource integrator device”, which from the player’s suit, manages health and projects holographic screens to show weapons, first aid kits, ammunition, among other things. Dead Space 3 has new necromorphs, in addition to those that already appeared in previous Dead Space.
