Battlefield 1942 is a first-person shooter (FPS) video game developed by Digital Illusions CE and published by Electronic Arts for Windows. It reconstructs the most important battles of the Second World War in a three-dimensional virtual recreation in which the player can immerse himself as a soldier on foot or in a vehicle on one of the two sides.

Among the novelties that it brought in its time, it is worth highlighting the possibility of handling different types of vehicles and its maps based on real orography with capacity for several dozen simultaneous players.

In the game you can choose 2 factions the Axis and the Allies each have different countries that fought in the Second World War. Each faction has its own weapons and vehicles, however some weapons and vehicles are shared between the two factions.
