Assassin’s Creed: Rogue is a historical fiction action-adventure stealth video game developed by Ubisoft Sofia and published by Ubisoft. It is the eighth installment of the Assassin’s Creed saga and its theme revolves around the Seven Years’ War (1756-1763) in North America, including the North Atlantic, the Appalachian River Valley and New York.
It stars Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin betrayed by his brotherhood who joins the Templars seeking revenge during the Seven Years’ War in the Atlantic Ocean. It is the sequel to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, with this game ends the trilogy of Colonial America.
