About This Game
The video game, preceded by Call of Duty: Black Ops and a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, is the eighth main title in the Call of Duty series.
The game’s story picks up right where Modern Warfare 2’s storyline left off, leaving the United States under siege by Russian forces, ultra-nationalist Vladimir Makarov freed, and Captains “Soap” MacTavish and John Price wounded and on the run along with the Russian informer Nikolai and the soldier Yuri who plays a very important role in the game.
The game will be, chronologically, the last installment in the Modern Warfare series, ending the story arc started in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
